Information JINVO uses
- Account information: your email address, account identifier and authentication information when you create or use an account.
- Training preferences: goals, experience, equipment, schedule, available time, exercise likes and dislikes, and coaching style.
- Health-related information you provide: injuries, physical limitations, pain, soreness and recovery or check-in information. This information can reveal details about your health. Avoid including information about other people.
- Training records: workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, loads, session dates, observations, progress and coaching conversations.
- Optional media: the photo you select for avatar creation, your saved avatar, spoken input when you use the microphone, and generated coach audio.
- Subscription and service records: account-linked purchase identifiers, subscription status, request status, usage allowances, operational diagnostics and support correspondence. Apple processes your payment details; JINVO does not receive your full payment-card number.
How your information is used
JINVO uses your information to build and adjust workouts, apply your stated restrictions, remember training context, show progress, synchronize account records, respond to your coaching requests, manage membership access and answer support requests.
Injuries and exercise preferences influence exercise selection and coaching context. They are not used to diagnose a condition. Providing a restriction does not guarantee that an exercise is safe for you.
Where European data-protection law applies, ordinary account and service processing is needed to provide the service you request; optional cloud AI and health-related processing rely on consent, including explicit consent where required. Service security and abuse prevention serve our legitimate interests, and legally required records are processed to meet legal obligations. You may withdraw consent by using the controls below or contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo processing that has already occurred.
Cloud services and AI providers
Using an account to synchronize your records and enabling cloud AI coaching are separate activities. Turning cloud coaching off does not delete your account or its synchronized history.
Supabase — account and cloud storage
JINVO uses Supabase for account authentication, account-linked storage, synchronization and backend processing. A signed-in account can synchronize its profile, workouts, conversations and saved avatar. Supabase privacy policy.
OpenAI — coaching and optional avatars
When you enable cloud coaching and request a cloud reply or plan, JINVO sends your question and relevant training settings and records through its backend to OpenAI. That context can include injuries, limitations, preferences, equipment, goals and training history. Choosing avatar creation sends the selected photo to OpenAI to generate an image. OpenAI privacy policy.
ElevenLabs — optional generated speech
Optional generated voice sends the text to be spoken to ElevenLabs. That text may contain personal training context from the reply. Routine workout cues can use speech on your device. ElevenLabs privacy policy.
Apple and RevenueCat — subscriptions
Apple handles App Store payments. RevenueCat receives your JINVO account identifier and purchase or subscription information to verify and manage access. Apple privacy policy · RevenueCat privacy policy.
Provider processing and retention also depend on the service and applicable provider terms. A request to avoid storing an AI response is not a promise of zero provider retention. We do not promise that every provider processes data exclusively in your country.
Camera, microphone and your device
The workout camera analyzes body pose, joint angles and supported movement feedback on your iPhone. This camera feature does not send its video feed to the coaching AI providers. Avatar creation is a separate, optional photo-upload feature.
Voice input uses Apple speech recognition. Depending on your settings and device capabilities, speech recognition may involve Apple’s servers. In offline-only mode, recognition requires on-device support. You can type instead, and you can revoke microphone, speech-recognition and camera permissions in iPhone Settings.
Local workouts and preferences are stored on your device. Device backups are controlled by your device and backup settings. JINVO’s website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and improve the website. It records page views and aggregate information such as referrers, approximate location, browser, operating system and device type, without third-party cookies or identifiers that track you across websites. We remove query strings and URL fragments from the page URLs sent to analytics and do not send app training records, injuries, account details or coaching conversations as analytics events. See Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy information. Website hosting and font providers still receive ordinary connection information such as an IP address when your browser requests a page or font.
Storage, retention and deletion
Your saved profile and training history remain available until you remove them or request deletion, subject to records that must be kept for legal or security reasons. JINVO’s backend request-content retention is 30 days, except for a currently accepted plan. This does not automatically delete a conversation saved in your training history.
Backend event and cancellation identifiers expire after 90 days, and aggregate service-spend records after 13 months. Removing training memory clears derived coaching requests, plans and actions; non-content accounting and purchase-binding records are separate. Provider logs, backups and legally required transaction records may follow separate retention schedules.
Open Profile → Data & privacy → Delete all memory to reset training memory, then confirm the deletion. This is not account deletion and does not cancel an Apple subscription. To request deletion of your account and associated personal records, follow the account-deletion guidance.
Your choices and rights
You can review your training settings, remove restrictions or preferences, and inspect what the coach remembers in the app’s profile controls. In Coaching membership, switch off Enable cloud coaching to stop new cloud work and cancel pending requests. Requests already sent to a provider cannot be recalled.
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your personal information, to withdraw consent, or to request restriction of processing or object where applicable. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights depend on applicable law.
AI-generated workout suggestions are intended to inform choices you make; they are not decisions about your legal rights or eligibility for services such as insurance or employment.
Security and international processing
JINVO uses authenticated account access and encrypted network connections to protect cloud data. No system is completely secure. Service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. International transfers must use a lawful transfer mechanism where required; contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data.
